Beware, the New Face of Fraud

It's 3AM in Cyprus, and while most residents of the small Island sleep, a certain miscreant is up in his dimly lit room, on his computer plotting his next scheme. He is on Facebook but he's not using his account. He's using the made-up account for Charles Harrison and he's sending messages to my friends on Facebook with my picture and my name claiming I'm a fraud and I've scammed him.

Real Women who Spy Part. 2

Way before Steven Seagal ever killed anyone on screen with a judo chop, Nancy Wake had been there, done that - in real life.

Real Women who Spy Part. 1

I'm no historian but I believe the first female spy in history was Delilah who was approached by the Philistines to discover the secret of Samson's strength. Delilah was a temptress and was extremely attractive and Samson fell completely in love with her. She used her powers of seduction and manipulation to eventually get Samson to reveal the source of his power which led to his downfall.

4 Actors who'll kill it Playing Dele Pearce

Will Smith's recent nomination for a Golden Globe playing the Nigerian born Bennet Omalu, tells us that Hollywood actors might just be ready to take on more Nigerian roles, and what better role to play right now than Dele Pearce, the obnoxious, womanizing blogger from The Galadima Conspiracy?

Dear Sidney Sheldon

It's been almost ten years since you left us but your impact on my life and probably the lives of others would live on forever. I wasn't born a reader, that would be my older sister, and as I watched her read as a kid, I picked books up and scanned through them, Enid Blyton was the best I could do and who would blame me, books were too long and too tedious, why should I bother with them when there was TV and film.

Bashir Mohammed rolled the tuwo with the tip of his fingers and dipped it into the bowl of egusi soup before throwing it into his mouth.

Terminator Genisys - My Perspective

Terminator Genisys had all the ingredients for success: Paramount pictures didn't slack in any sense with the production or marketing of the movie. The film's primary elements make sense: It has Alan Taylor of Game of Thrones and Thor: The Dark World behind the lens. It reboots a very popular franchise and it features hot up comers Emilia Clarke also from Game of Thrones and Jai Courtney from Divergent. In promoting Genisys, they hit heavily with spots during NBA basketball games, UFC fights and even the super bowl's second quarter earlier this year, an event that drew a historic number of viewers.

Sandler's Golden Pixel

Hate him or love him, fact is Adam Sandler has remained one of the most successful Hollywood actors through the last decade. Since 2005, of Sandler's 15 movies, 10 have grossed over 100 million (U.S Box office receipts) which is more than any other Hollywood actor can claim, and what's more impressive is that he has been able to accomplish this with mostly original movies; only one animated offering (Hotel Transylvania) and one sequel (Grown Ups 2). Never a favorite with critics; at the beginning of his career, they predicted it wouldn't last and now these same critics say it has come to an end.

Sorry Bub, No Freebies From Me

As an author, especially one that is new to this madness, I've always debated putting my book up for free on Kindle. I'm flirting with becoming a full time writer very soon which means writing not just for leisure or fun but to pay for the Mediterranean cruise, the Amman weekend and the South African safari.
